RESEARCHER
• Undertake and analyze information from controlled laboratory-based investigations, experiments and trials at the University of Puerto Rico, Institute of Neurobiology and Medical Science Campus.
• Applications of different techniques like fear behavior Skinner box, cell culture, brain slide, cardiac perfusion and electrophysiology.
VISITING STUDENT RESEARCH
• Conducted hands-on cutting-edge research projects in healthcare application in drug delivery devices using hydrogel based microneedles for the delivery of neurotransmitters through the skin. Under the supervision under Dr. Khaled Nabil Salama
INTERN
• Proposal development of a legislative bill for the five populated U.S. territories focused on implementing a center for research to fuel economic growth and innovation by investing in the research infrastructure of US territories.
UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCHER
• Mechanical and electrical characterization of biomedical technology for drug delivery. Thermal and electrical characterization of biosensor for neurodegenerative diseases.
UNDERGRADUATE RESERACHER
• Design and fabricated microfluidic devices for Point of Care (PoC) platform microfabricated in less time, with less equipment which will get a rapid blood test results and a cost-effective device.
• Applications of different techniques as PDMS 1:10, lithography and Inmmunoassays applications as ELISA (enzyme-linked im- munosorbent assay).
RESEARCH ASSISTANT
• Brought operational and administrative support to Research Managers in UPR centre of innovation and commercialization. Fostered a culture of innovation, provided tools for the design and commercialization of innovations, as well as contribute to the innovation ecosystem and the economic development of Puerto Rico.
RESEARCH ASSISTANT
• Designed and fabricated a 3D stainless steel MicroElectrode array on glass with integrated packaging strategies. It was a collaboration along with AxoSim company. Its purpose is to receive data by in vitro cells reactions from drugs.
